Finance and Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee
The Committee is responsible for the overview and scrutiny of the service areas covered by the Finance and Resources Committee and other Council functions and services not otherwise the responsibility of full Council or any other Committee. The Committee will report to the Finance and Resources Committee on those matters within the terms of reference of the Finance and Resources Committee which shall consider the report at the next available meeting. Any matter unresolved shall be submitted to the next full Council meeting for determination. Where the Committee has evidence to suggest that the Finance and Resources Committee has made a decision outside of the budget or policy framework, the implementation of that decision will be deferred and referred to the next full Council for determination. Any matter relating to the area or inhabitants of the area which does not fall within the responsibilities of the Council will be referred to the next full Council for consideration.
